Learning OutcomesAs a result of participating in this learning activity the learner will be able to:
- Self-report new or improved knowledge on OASIS E2 item(s) on the post-module evaluation.
This module provides the home care professional with the knowledge to gather the appropriate assessment information related to the client’s integumentary status and appropriately apply it to OASIS items specific to pressure ulcers, stasis ulcers, and surgical wounds.
This is a self-paced module designed to support independent learning. It includes optional knowledge checks and reflection activities to reinforce key concepts throughout the module. To earn a Certificate of Completion, participants must do the following: • Achieve a score of 80% or higher on the Final Exam (Unlimited attempts allowed; reviewing course materials between attempts is encouraged) • Complete the Post-Module Evaluation All course components—including content review, Final Exam, and Survey
- Connect a thorough skin assessment to accurate data collection
- Articulate how “most problematic” reflects clinical judgement
- Consider using OASIS driven language in clinical documentation related to wounds

This course is designed to meet the continuing education requirements of health care professionals such as Registered Nurses, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists.
